Brion Gysin: Dream Machine iPhone App
“Brion Gysin: Dream Machine” at the New Museum is the first comprehensive presentation of the painter, performer, poet, and writer Brion Gysin. This app is inspired by Gysin’s Dreamachine (1961), a kinetic light sculpture that utilizes the “flicker” effect to induce visions when experienced with closed eyes. The Dreamachine contains flickering light effects that should be avoided by people with seizure disorders and by those otherwise susceptible to seizures.
